Our landlord, Dr Daniel Sturdy, owner of the restaurant Malthouse Bar & Kitchen has served us a termination notice.  He has informed Helen Tweddle (owner of Malt House Emporium) that he wishes us to leave so that he can develop the space as a Growth Hub to support and 'incubate' small businesses.  By doing so he is effectively killing the livelihood of the 100 small businesses and making 8 people unemployed.  We took on this building a year before the restaurant opened, a building that had been empty for 5 years and brought it to life.  We bring a great deal of visitors from all over the UK to Stroud, and they visit not only our business but those in the whole Stroud area.  We do not wish to leave our founding site.  Please sign this petition to show your support.  We need Dr Sturdy to see just how many local and nationwide people want us to remain. #savethemalthouse
