Veeck Skatepark in Hinsdale, IL has entered a state of disrepair and is extremely dangerous to anyone attempting to use it. As of August 6th, 2018, Veeck Skatepark is open to the public, and listed on the City's official website. There are exposed screw heads on skate surfaces, jagged pieces of wood sticking out of ramps, and ramp structures on the brink of collapse. This is the only skatepark in the surrounding cities, and we would hate to see them simply bulldoze the park into a field. The community wants a new skatepark, built with the right team of designers and skaters, that we can all be proud to call our own.
