Hear Me Speak, a UK-based campaign supported by youth mental health charity Beyond, seeks to strengthen legislation, guidance and training around policing within a mental health crisis.

Having personally experienced the treatment by police of those going through a mental health crisis, António hopes that through Hear Me Speak, this reform will be shaped from start to end by lived experience. 

The Hear Me Speak campaign invites organisations responsible for providing guidance and training to police forces across the UK to take note of the evidence of the failures of the current approach to policing mental health problems and the urgent need for change.
