Pauline, Anne and all Joe's friends, carers, and supporters wish to extend their gratitude to Longford Town FC Supporters Club.

Joe thoroughly enjoyed the night. Last night gave Joe a spur on. A reason to go on. For that we are grateful. 

It is a difficult defeat for Longford Town FC. 90 minutes of intense football is difficult, add in the extra time and then the defeat through penalties, and it is a devastating result. I was not at the match, but having read media reports today, the officials in charge, may have made a few incorrect decisions. We extend our heartfelt devastation, to each member of the team, to the management and to everyone involved. 

It is ironic, if it is the case, that incorrect decisions were made by the officials on the night. We, as family, friends, and supporters of the campaign for Joe, feel, with no disrespect, that the officials contacted, in our plight have also made incorrect decisions. 

For us, the 90 minutes have been played, extra time yielded us no results, so now we must go to a penalty shoot out. 

With your support, it is a penalty shoot out, that we WILL win.
