At all times, it has been reiterated, that Pauline wishes to fight, for, her son, in a peaceful manner. That is something I have to reaffirm to you all. There is no blame, towards polititicans, the powers that be, within the HSE, etc. etc.

Some people believe that the petitions, are useless in this fight. But, you are wrong, over 8000 signatures of support, may not achieve a home in Bloomfield for Joe, but, each and every signature means so much to Pauline. It gives this lady hope. It gives her reason to get out of bed each morning.

Pauline, has one daughter, who lives in Cork.

The facts of the situation, are that Pauline has lost her husband, her son John, and now she is watching Joe deteriorate every day.

If Joe did not have this terrible illness, he, being the popular man, that he is, would most likely be married with children who adore their Nannie/Granny.

Even, if Joe never married, and/or had children, if he was in good health he would be still active, in whatever choices he made in life.

He would not be relying on Pauline to care for him, and, believe me when I say, what that woman does for her son is unbelievable.

Every time Pauline hears that another signature has been added to the paper petitions, or the online petition, it spurs her on.

If you dont agree with how things are proceeding, stop, and think about things.

Think about a man, who is burdened with this illness, who is frustrated, and depressed because of this illness.

Think of a woman, nearing her 70th birthday, who has her own health issues, and doesn't know when or if, she will sleep tonight. Think of the loss she has already suffered.

Think of Paulines daughter, who is an absolute gem, and lives in Cork, with her husband and her child, Joes niece, and who worries about the situation in Longford morning, noon and night.

Your support is phenomenal.

Joe has an illness, a horrible illness, if you wish to lay blame, blame the illness of Huntington's
