Thank you for your submission. Below is a copy of your eLetter as we received it. Your eLetter, if accepted, should be viewable within a few days. Sincerely, The Editorial staff of BJPsych Bulletin ---------------------------------------- Article (citation): Dr Sheila Mann FRCPsych John Gunn The Psychiatrist Online Dec 2013, 37 (12) 405; DOI: 10.1192/pb.bp.113.045807 http://pb.rcpsych.org/content/37/12/405 The eLetter was submitted on 18 09 2015: I am surprised that you failed to mention the leading court judgment related to Dr Mann who made false incorrect allegations against an evidence based whistleblower. The high watermark being a typographical error. While I never did have a mental illness. It's a true irony that having damaged my reputation, she was the one with the mental health problem. I would like to ask whether the Royal College will be peer reviewing her work given the judge referred to the above as similar to a totalitarian regime. I thankyou in advance for publishing this in your support for evidence based whistleblowers. Regards Dr Rita Pal www.ritapal.info I doubt this will be published so here it is. Some of the early work of the famous Tom Wells gives the background https://www.scribd.com/doc/225942200/Dr-Rita-Pal-v-General-Medical-Council-The-Only-Media-Feature-by-Sunday-Mercury . The GMC had an eye popping legal bill. I made my point. No one messes with any junior doctor. This was a tough case due to the GMCs silly habit of hiding documents like a petulant child.
