When I was a junior doctor, I was up against the great Professor Temple. Having told the local paper all was well at the Trust I was at, quite the opposite was said in private documents that eventually landed in my lap. Of course, as time went on no one held Prof Temple to account. He went onto make decisions on junior doctors here http://www.nhsemployers.org/your-workforce/retain-and-improve/better-training-better-care/temple-report---time-for-training . When the junior doctors ask themselves why their situation is so dire, they really need to address the fact that their seniors failed them. Here is a good piece by a junior doctor http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/junior-doctors-are-being-treated-so-badly-that-we-may-be-forced-to-strike-10507763.html Here is their petition https://www.change.org/p/british-medical-association-strike-action Share these links widely.
