I learned about whistleblower retaliation during my Twitter exchange with the movie star John Cusack. He had led me to study and write about the case of Bradley Manning. Indeed he felt I did a good job of it. Nevertheless, I learned a great deal about this issue and how organisations behave. My own case and the retaliation engineered by the Department of Health and GMC was obvious. A small but truthful voice must always be silenced to preserve the status quo. After all, it wouldn't do for the public to know some of their hospitals had no basic equipment and ended lives of the elderly and disabled by purposely ensuring poor care. Retaliation by the system is a wicked ambush. Here is an article of interest http://www.rt.com/usa/218811-whistleblower-retaliation-claims-federal/
