Hi, Something special occurred over the weekend. The Australian Lyme community linked arms and said they've had enough! 32,000 signatures & 6500 personal stories were collated. That's 32,000 reasons why the government must make changes to how we treat Lyme and associated illnesses in Australia. We have sent Sussan Ley the petition and we eagerly await her response. We know that there have been critical meetings over the past 48 hours that we hope will lead to change. There is no doubt all of your signatures and comments have helped. There is already a HUGE announcement just posted on the Lyme Disease Association of Australia's Facebook page. Don't forget to LIKE their page for all further developments. Thank you again - we'll continue to update the signature list to Sussan Ley as they come in, they will all be captured until we get the change we want. It is time to recognise Lyme.
