Following the easing of some restrictions, the re opening of pools comes with a sense of relief - but not to all club swimmers ! 
Swimmers who are 18 & over will not be allowed till another 5 weeks later ... these swimmers have trained together before Covid-19... now they will have to wait before they can train again... They have lost a lot of time but to lose extra time while the younger swimmers can train, it is very detrimental to their health, their training & their mental health & motivation... These are our future swimmers who absolutely love & enjoy their sport ... We cannot understand why they are not allowed as there will be adults on poolside so what’s the difference? In actual fact, they are safer than any other sport , being in chlorine for a couple of hours each session ... I would like to stress how important it is for the hundreds of over 18s to continue with their training as it is harder for them to get back to where they were ... I would like for the Elite  swimmers that represent Britain to help in our quest..
