The government have given teachers and other public sector workers 3% pay increases. Nurses have got us through this pandemic and are more than deserving to get the reward for their dedication - not clapping and cheering but decent pay. We have a shortage of nurses by 35,000 so if we want to attract more into this profession then we need to pay them their true value.
