Congress is back to work now so it is time for us to start thinking about HR 6023 and getting the restitution that EVERY assault victim deserves, whether military or not. I knew there was a study done in 2021 by the Pentagon concerning sexual assaults in the military but I overlooked one of the 80 recommendations that the Independent Review Commission recommended. In 2021 they recommended studying potential VICTIM COMPENSATION, I don’t know about you but I would like to know the status of that study. So if you are contacting your Congressional representatives, please ask them about the study and what their opinion of the Independent Review Commission is.
