Steelers: Do not sign known dog fighter and animal abuser Mike Vick

The Issue

In 2007, Michael Vick was indicted in federal court on charges related to dog fighting at his "Bad Newz Kennels" and numerous dog were seized from his property. Just because the NFL has chosen to give Vick another chance at playing professionally doesn't mean that the Pittsburgh Steelers have to give him that opportunity on our team. Pittsburgh is home to some of the best and nationally recognized animal shelters and advocacy groups in the nation. Groups like Hello Bully were founded in Pittsburgh to save the kinds of dogs that Vick fought, abused and ultimately killed. If the Steelers choose to sign Vick, they show that winning a game is more important than having good role models on their team. Sign this petition to tell Mike Tomlin and the Rooney Family that Steelers Nation does not want Michael Vick associated with their team.
