All third-year health students are in limbo at the moment as to what is happening with their degree. They have worked so very hard to achieve what they have so far, and there is speculation that studies will be suspended so Radiographers, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals are put on a temporary registrar to enable them to work for the NHS, when most only have a few months left until they qualify and can get permanent jobs. What would be more beneficial is to scrap the remaining assignments, and as long as students have completed all competency’s and placement, they should be allowed to qualify early to enable them to go out and work immediately and not have to go back in a few months time to finish their studies and delay them getting a permanent job. Writing a few more essays will not make us better professionals but working collaboratively within the NHS will, especially in this time of need! Please help and sign the petition.
