We've been following the beautifully woven stories of Game of Thrones for quite some time now. So, when show runners announced at the end of season 6 that Game of Thrones will come back for 13 more episodes people were expecting to get a spectacle on par with what they've seen so far. This final season just misses the mark for the following reasons. In no specific order:

1. You have a billion episode buildup to an all out magical war with the White Walkers. This build-up ends with possibly one of the dullest episodes in the epoch. It made no sense tactically (why would you keep all of your army outside the castle and outside the trench?), and offered no surprises or important plot movement. This epic war just ends with a single (badass) swish of an assassin.

2. Episode 4 - Varys, the lord of whispers, king of the orphans who will not be named, knows what everyone had for breakfast but can't tell Danny about the looming Scorpion threat? I think not.

3. Episode 5 - usually this show is great when it comes to killing characters we car about, not assassinating their character. Danny have been through so much (rape, seeing her brother killed in front of her, seeing her advisors killed, experiencing betrayal overall) but people not being nice to her after the Battle of Winterfell is what breaks her?!

4. Really? You couldn't get the budget for Ghost to be petted even a little bit?

5. Cat fight - finally we have 2 badass women on screen (Sansa and Danny) and all you can do is pit them against each other? It makes zero to no sense, I understand you need to move the plot but this whole power struggle feels forced.
