Do you remember the end of season 6? Dany’s conquest on the horizon. Cersei on the Iron Throne. The Starks finally home in Winterfell. The White Walkers still marching South. The writing was still half decent. Things actually made sense. When everything wasn't about "subverting the expectations"? (GRRM talking about subversion for the sake of subversion aka exactly what D&D did with the show.)

David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, ruined the best show on the planet.

It is hard to find an episode in the entire series that can compete with the s08e04 for lack of logic and reasoning. Years of character development have been destroyed in this episode. It is an insult to the intelligence of the audience and a travesty in universe. I'm surprised no one in the entire line of people whose hands this episode goes through before air date did not have the integrity to call out on such a terrible piece of television. Franchise destroying material right here. 

The eighth season has been hands down the biggest disappointment of an otherwise epic journey. D&D are obviously incapable of writing something that actually makes sense, or is not an adaptation. It's all about shock value at the expense of quality storytelling we were accustomed to in the first four seasons. 

Both RottenTomatoes and IMDb scores for this season are at their lowest for the show, the first two episodes of the eighth season are not as low rated as the third and the fourth as they were NOT written by D&D. The fourth episode has a shocking score of 58% on RT and the lowest ever score for the show of 6.6 on IMDb. And if the leaks are correct, the rest of the season is going in the same direction. 

I cannot believe that they had two years and 100 million dollars and this is what they came up with. I didn't make this because I thought there's a chance for the more than needed course correction but at least I want HBO and those two men to know how much they disappointed their fans.
