Congratulations to all the hardworking crew, cast, writers and filmmakers for such a wonderful series. An additional CHEERS! to George R.R. Martin, David Weiss, and David Benioff. To me, Game of Thrones is the most compelling television series since Babylon 5; an absolute masterpiece that spanned 5 seasons which last aired 20 years ago. Fast forward 20 years, and I am still a cheerleader for Babylon 5. I tell my kin, "You have to binge-watch all 5 seasons of Babylon 5. It is an absolute masterpiece from start to finish!" Most likely, the fan base for Game of Thrones dwarfs Babylon 5 by comparison. It would be great to see 10 million+ fans of GoT, 20 years later, be the cheerleaders and the most dedicated fans buying up every 4k, 8k, virtual reality and yet to be conceived digital media that exists of this entire epic television series.

So on to this petition. There are many disappointed fans of Season 8. Even though GoT was an excellent series, we think the release of Season 8, left the series, as a whole, just short of a masterpiece, simply because Season 8 was short, just 6 episodes. The 6 episodes are excellent, beautiful, no doubt exceptional production value. We just felt there was not enough story to develop the logic for the fate of certain characters. We like to petition HBO to produce an "extended version" which would entail new content spliced into current episodes and/or additional episodes. We know the crew and cast have moved on to other projects, but would some be willing to re-unite to flesh out certain stories? Perhaps for example, the demise of the Night King or Daenerys transformation to become the Mad Queen.

No one signing this petition are angry or complaining, we would just like to see an even brighter legacy for Game of Thrones. 20 years from now, we want to be the cheerleaders and say to our kin, "You have to binge-watch all 8 seasons of Game of Thrones. It is an absolute masterpiece from start to finish!"
