Living in Villagio at Estero should be a joyful experience for everyone calling it home. However, recent decisions by the HOA board have left many residents like myself disheartened and frustrated. I live here, and like many others in our community, I am not happy with how the board and office operates. There's been a significant lack of transparency in their actions, and we fear that our funds are being mishandled.

Mismanagement and secrecy have led to deteriorating conditions in our beloved neighborhood. Instead of improvements, we are witnessing questionable expenditure and a board that is not forthcoming with the necessary details about community finances and projects. It's disheartening to see our hard-earned money being used in ways that seem to serve interests that are not aligned with making our community flourish once again.

I know I'm not alone in my concerns. Many residents in Villagio at Estero share these sentiments. The need for state oversight has never been more urgent. We need a transparent, accountable, and trustworthy management team that places the community’s interests first. The state can provide the oversight required to ensure that funds are used appropriately and that decisions are made with all residents' best interests at heart.

We call upon the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to intervene and oversee the management of Villagio at Estero. Their involvement would restore confidence among residents, bring about much-needed transparency, and ensure that our community grows and thrives in the ways it deserves.
