A post that promotes false information.

A post that promotes false information.
The Issue
Rolls-Royce is an iconic brand that has stayed on par with the world’s rich history.
Falling into baseless political traps does not complement the image of Rolls-Royce who has constantly set new standards in the automobile world.
The problem:
Unfortunately, we found out that Rolls-Royce has used an unfounded and politically motivated phrase "a.r.a.b.i.a.n gulf" instead of the internationally recognized and historically documented name the Persian Gulf.
While we respect Rolls-Royce's freedom to name their product as they see them fit, promoting false information through product naming is not a fair use of social media. Today in our societies individuals use social media to expand their knowledge and promoting false information is against what we all stand for.
Historical and political evidence:
- On all major maps, international treaties, documents, and maps, this body of water is known by the name "Persian Gulf".
- According to a book Documents on the Persian Gulf's name (pp 92–98), the United Nations Secretariat and its specialized agencies have requested its staff to use only "Persian Gulf" as a standard geographical designation.
- The United Nations Group of Experts on Geographical Names has endorsed the "Persian Gulf" as the official name for this body of water.
Our demand:
We would like to ask Rolls-Royce's Facebook admin team and ultimately Facebook review team to unpublish the following Facebook posts that promote false information.
