Every day, as I walk my dog or watch my kids play in our neighborhood, I am alarmed by the number of cars speeding through our streets and ignoring stop signs. Our neighborhood, designed for safety, has a speed limit of 25 mph. However, drivers frequently treat it as if it's an open highway, racing through at speeds closer to 45 mph. This reckless behavior poses a severe danger to the many families, cyclists, runners, and pet owners who use our neighborhood streets daily.
