Since the end of the 2021-22 school year, Paul D. Schreiber High School has closed its auditorium for off periods. The auditorium was only open for off periods in the school years of 2020-21 and 2021-22 due to covid. Covid is still present, but they have chosen to close it for students this year. This has upset a countless amount of students as it was their designated location for off or lunch periods. The auditorium was quiet, calm, and a chill place to be. It was also cool in warmer weather and warm in cooler weather. With the winter rolling in soon, and rainier days, it will be more difficult for students to find a place to hang out due to major overcrowding. Students loved to do schoolwork, rest or sleep, and hang out with friends. The closure of the auditorium has devastated a large part of our student body.
