RANZCOG’s Australian Endometriosis Guideline is:

- Full of gender centred language excluding a large population of Endo suffers.

- Outdated information.

- States hormone therapy will slow or stop the growth - false!

- Recommends the use of Zoladex (cancer drug) for patients before Endo is even diagnosed.

- Not promoting excision surgery as the Gold Standard in treatment, instead, they are promoting daily medication as a band-aid while the disease continues to spread.

- Promotes misinformation.

- Puts people's lives at risk.

Patients deserve the best care when first presenting with symptoms. This current guideline is not inclusive and does not put patients first.
