Add "Retrospective look at the Go Live of OMES" to the JMOC meeting February 16th, 9:00 am

The Issue

PLEASE SELECT "NO" IF PROMPTED TO DONATE. THIS IS A DONATION TO CHANGE.ORG, NOT TO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH BILLING SOLUTIONS.

Behavioral Health Billing Solutions (BHBS) is a well-known support company specializing in behavioral health, and we serve small to medium agencies in Ohio Behavioral Health.

Over the last year, we've been working with the state to test the new Fiscal Administrator software (OMES).

We were vocal during our tenure with the group. After 12 months of testing, we felt the system wasn't ready. When we questioned our testing results compared to the original production files, we were told lack of payments or adjudications that varied from our results were not necessarily defects with the system.

It would appear their declarations were wrong.

Since Go Live, all providers have experienced billing submission issues, remit and payment receipt issues, and unexplained, incorrect rejections during our attempts to bill. BHBS is made for small to medium size agencies and we are fighting to keep them alive.

We would like to respectfully request that Joint Medicaid Oversight Committee adds to the agenda for the Feb 16th meeting, time to take a retrospective look at the Go Live of OMES.
