Petition to install a traffic signal or have a section blocked off at the intersection of White Marsh Shopping Center in Gloucester VA, to prevent further fatalities.

We, the undersigned residents of Gloucester and surrounding areas, urgently request that VDOT and Gloucester County install a traffic signal or block off the intersection at White Marsh Shopping Center. This intersection has been the site of multiple fatal accidents and numerous injuries in the past. We cannot afford to lose another life. The most recent was a 26-year-old first-time father-to-be.
We call the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors to conduct a traffic safety study and have this location either blocked off or a traffic light installed. Every day without action puts lives at risk. We request a public response and timeline for a traffic study within 30 days. We are prepared to meet with VDOT engineers and attend a County Board meeting.
