For many people, Dick Van Dyke is synonymous with a different (and better) time. He is a superbly accomplished entertainer, songman, dancer, actor, producer, and author. Those who have seen him perform live and in-person have a permanent memory that can't be matched. Many others haven't had this experience. Let's change this.

Everyone knows and loves something from Mr. Van Dyke's career ... Bye Bye Birdie, Mary Poppins, the Dick Van Dyke Show, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Diagnosis: Murder, and HUNDREDS of other great works spanning seven decades and covering comedy, dance, song, and screen. More recently, he was instrumental in forming the a cappella group Vantastix and this year he surprised the entertainment world by appearing on The Masked Singer.

The Glenwood Vaudeville Revue in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, may only be about 15 years old, but it still has captured the essence of a very big part of entertainment history and they have succeeded to bring to life the vibe from entertainment during some of the early years of Mr. Van Dyke's career. John Goss built the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue from the ground up so the world could learn what vaudeville is and it displays decades of entertainment history for audiences every time the curtain goes up. They even have one of the few remaining Wurlitzer Photoplayers to give audiences a taste of entertainment technology that was popular when Mr. Van Dyke started his career.

Setting up a sold-out performance featuring Dick Van Dyke, Arlene Silver, and the Vantastix at the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue is a match made in heaven. Mr. Van Dyke could be a great add-in to a show with the existing cast members or the venue would make a great place to showcase his talent, passion, and energy.
