The Issue

Imagine a day where traveling between neighborhoods in our community is seamless, where connecting with schools and amenities doesn’t require a battle through congested streets. This vision can become a reality for residents of Eastmark, Cadence, Mountain Heights, Mountain Ranch, and the southern neighborhoods by extending Crismon Road from Guadalupe to Elliot Rd.

Currently, residents face challenges with the heavy traffic surges at Signal Butte and Elliot, as well as Ellsworth at Elliot. This congestion not only causes daily frustrations but also increases travel time significantly, affecting our day-to-day lives, especially concerning access to schools and essential services. Extending Crismon Road would significantly ease the flow of traffic, creating a more efficient and pleasant commute.

Moreover, this connection will foster greater accessibility for families and children who utilize Gilbert schools' "school choice" option by providing a more direct route to educational institutions. This change would support our children's educational opportunities by ensuring safe and timely arrival at their schools.

The benefits are twofold. Northern neighborhoods will gain better access to southern amenities, fostering an interconnected community where resources and services are within reach for everyone. A connected Crismon Road serves as a bridge not just in infrastructure but in community solidarity, allowing growth and interconnectedness to thrive.

This project could exemplify progressive urban planning, addressing current issues of congestion and accessibility while paving the way for future developments. By supporting the expansion of Crismon Road, we advocate for a practical solution that enhances quality of life, bolsters community ties, and augments accessibility for all residents. Let's come together, envision a smoother commute, and a more connected community.

Sign this petition to urge local authorities to take action in making this crucial extension a reality, making our community more united and accessible for everyone.
