Zack KerrAccrington, ENG, United Kingdom

Sep 16, 2017
Spending an hour anywhere with Zack is never dull, but spending an hour with him in Accrington on market day was eventful to say the least. We parked up in the town centre with an hour to kill before a dental appointment and first Zack wanted to drop off some campaign posters at Graham Jones MP's constituency office. As we approached the office, we heard a voice, "Is that Mr Kerr? Have you come to see me, Zack?" It was Graham and he and Zack had a chat about the campaign and about how well it was going. Graham said that he was taking some car stickers for his colleagues in Parliament and told Zack that he'd try and arrange a trip to the House of Commons for him. Zack left some posters with Graham and his secretary and there was a quick photo opportunity before Graham had to continue with his other appointments.
Then we made our way to the Town Hall where we met the receptionist who recognised Zack from going to nursery with her own son and said she'd seen him on TV with his campaign report. She took a poster from Zack to display in the town hall notice board.
Next to the Market where Zack was spotted by a one of the stall holders who has known Zack since he was very young. She made a dash for him and gave him a big hug and kiss! She said she'd seen him on TV and read about it in the paper and again Zack gave her a poster to display in her stall.
And then finally, off to the dentist. Once again Zack was greeted with a smile by the receptionist and Zack asked if she would display a poster in the surgery. She agreed and asked if she could copy it to display in the staff room too! The hygienist came out to meet Zack and referred to his local celebrity status!
And after a quick scale and polish it was off to Tesco for some shopping and a quick bite to eat and of course we couldn't escape Tesco without Zack bumping into one of his good friends, Paul.
Not a moment wasted on the Campaign mission!
