So it's been another busy day at HQ. Zack has received many more messages and tweets of support, in particular today from many young people in similar circumstances to himself and also from a number of individuals who work for or are associated with 'Mencap' who are strong advocates and promoters of the Changing Places initiative. Zack also received a call from the 'top man' at MUDSA (Manchester United Disabled Supporters Association) who we are hoping will feature Zack's campaign in their 'Rollin Reds' magazine in the not too distant future!
We have redrafted Zack's campaign poster as many people had already asked us for copies to display in their own areas. If you want to and are able to receive the poster electronically, please drop us a quick email at zackschangecampaign@gmail.com and we'll send it to you by refute as a pdf. Even if you are unsble to print it, we would appreciate you circulating via email to your friends and contacts. If you are able to print one it more copies, then please do display them wherever you can ... colleges, schools, offices, community buildings, churches, pubs, libraries, leisure centres, transport hubs, cafes, post offices, theatres, youth clubs, shops, supermarkets ... And if you aren't able to print your own, please message us with your address and we'll post some out to you.
Finally, this evening, We received a call from a fellow wheelchair user and active campaigner who had seen Zack's petition and had offered to produce wrist bands promoting the camaign. This us great and we are currently looking into this, so watch this space!
I think we'll be busy tomorrow delivering posters locally. Zack's MP has asked for some yo displsy in his constituency office and around the area. Maybe you could ask your local MP to do the same?
Have a good Friday!
