Well it's been a more relaxing weekend but news of the campaign continues to spread, and Zack has even had friend requests from young people with Cerebral Palsy in Brazil! On Sunday morning we went to Blackburn Cathedral and Zack is now well known to many there! The folk the are keen to support Zack's campaign but are also hoping to install accessible changing place facilities at the Cathedral too in the not too distant future, which is great news. Canon Michael at the Cathedral chatted to Zack and was delighted at how well the campaign is doing. We spent the afternoon at Southport Air Show which was great fun and the weather was surprisingly good with lovely clear skies to watch the aircraft. Zack particularly liked the Tornado at the end of the show (see photo!) though the incredible booming noise took us both by surprise and almost necessitated use of a changing place for both of us!
Today we were especially please to receive an email from Debbie Abrahams MP for Oldham East & Saddleworth, who was full of praise for Zack's campaign and is very supportive of it. She has also shared it on Twitter, which has already brought in more signatures this evening. She is keen to meet Zack and hopefully facilitate a trip to London for Zack to promote his campaign at the Houses of Parliament! Watch this space!
We are always encouraged each day by the many messages of support, some describing how Zack's campaign will have such a positive effect on the lives of others like himself.
Onwards and upwards!
Thanks
Zack & Team
