On the Thirteenth of March 2017 something dark happened. Our fine establishment has decided to desecrate its long standing and prestigious logo with a new one. Normally this would not be an issue, however the logo chosen looks tacky, cheap and does not represent our University properly. They claim that this logo reflects their heritage and progressive outlook (HAU, 2017).

Although the Student Union may have been consulted on the matter, the main student body were not and were most surprised to discover that the logo that represents us has been changed without a care for our opinions. We are proud of our crest and old logo and feel that this is not something we can take pride in!

This petition has been created to convince HAU to return our beloved old logo to us before it is too late. Please remember Harper that some of us have to jobs after University and this logo is not going to help anyone.
