Two major figures destroyed UK democracy yesterday. The Queen, elected by nobody, gave unelected Prime Minster Boris Johnson the power to shutdown UK Parliament.
There is a Leadership crisis in the UK today. Johnson received 92,153 votes from only the Tory faithful to become PM and destroy the UK. The Queen, with zero votes, has now also agreed to subvert UK Democracy through allowing UK Parliament to be closed. The UK population of 66 million people, including 5.5 million UK citizens who live outside the UK had ZERO votes, including this author, have not had much of a say. So how can the UK now be considered a beacon of democracy?
The Queen also greets the dangerous liar and disruptive Trump earlier this year. Why? She is no doubt a lovely person but she must go. She may still have all her Palaces (Buckingham Palace, Sandringham, Balmoral etc) that I have to help pay for as a UK citizen in a declining economy and a devaluing State pension.
The UK Parliament, as argued here in my change.org petition articles over the past two years, must have a free vote on BREXIT. The result must be leave or remain. A deal with the EU is dangerous because the UK will then have zero power over EU issues that affects it. Switzerland knows to its cost that a deal means NO say in the EU policies that affect them. Swiss banks are trembling as the EU starts to hurts their banks and its economy.
Soon, should the UK accept a nonsense Deal they will have no power over decisions that affect them. Even Romania, Portugal, Italy etc will have more power over the UK than now!
Our other leaders have also NOT led. Corbyn is a muttering disaster representing what? A Marxist Britain? His advisers have been equally appalling. McDonnell who seems decent is a muttering mess and stated in front of this author that Marx was the best economist ever.
The UK Parliament must act immediately and reject BREXIT and accept REMAIN. Now the time is short and the leadership crisis shorter (the Queen, Johnson, Corbyn etc.). Democracy means that the UK Parliament MUST decide either Leave or Remain on a FREE vote! That is democracy and if Parliament votes Leave, that is democracy and I, as a democrat, will accept that much as I think it will destroy the UK.
