In 2020, Marvel Legends created a new Retro series of "Marvel Legends: Spider-Man" action figures and included the box art from Toy Biz's "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" for their packaging.  Among the figures that have been made so far in the Retro Spider-Man toyline include Spider-Man, Peter Parker, Electro, the Green Goblin, Gwen Stacy (with an alternate head of Mary Jane Watson), Daredevil in his armored costume, the Kingpin, Mysterio and the Black Cat.

One action figure that fans have wanted to see Hasbro make is an all-new classic figure of Flint Marko/the Sandman, one of Spider-Man's earliest and popular enemies.  The Sandman has not been made into a sold-separately action figure by Hasbro in several years and most fans were unable to get the Sandman Build-A-Figure from a few years ago.  Since the Sandman was not allowed to appear on "Spider-Man: The Animated Series", we, the fans, would think it would be fun to see a new classic Sandman figure appear on the Retro Toy Biz packaging and have the next new classic Sandman figure six inches tall and shorter in height than the Sandman Build-A-Figure.

If not for 2021, then we hope Hasbro would please consider making a Retro classic Sandman figure for the Retro Spider-Man toyline for 2022.  There are so many characters left to include in the Retro Spider-Man toyline and we feel Sandman would be a great addition to the collection of Spider-Man fans and Marvel Legends collectors alike.
