The new "Magic the Gathering" logo is an unnecessary change that actively detracts from the look and feel of the game. By getting rid of the classic logo you are actively disservicing your community by removing a special and effective design that supported the feel  of the game we hold dear. Out of respect for MtG and the hard effort that makes the game great we as a community ask that you revert the logo back to it's original state.
