Since 2020, Hasbro has made "Marvel Legends: Retro Spider-Man" action figures, released on a re-creation of the original box art of Toy Biz's "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" toyline, of classic Spider-Man heroes, civilian characters, enemies, and of Spidey himself for fans to buy.  One figure that fans hope to get another chance of adding to their collection is the super-villain Sergei Kravinoff, also known as Kraven the Hunter.  The character was introduced in 1964 as a big-game hunter who attempted to hunt down Spider-Man and he was a founding member of the super-villain team The Sinister Six.  The character has been released as an action figure over the years from such toy companies as Toy Biz, and, currently, Hasbro.

The last classic figure for Kraven the Hunter was released as part of a two-pack with the black costume Spider-Man in 2019.  The figure of Kraven was re-released in 2023 as a Wal-Mart exclusive, re-painted  and with new boots to match his look from the "Spider-Man" animated series that ran from 1994 to 1998 on The Fox Kids Network.

However, fans of Kraven the Hunter would love to see Hasbro make a brand new action figure of Kraven the Hunter on a new body mold, painted in bright colors to be comic book accurate, to include new alternate heads of Kraven, and to include accessories of his weapons, such as a knife, a spear and a net.
