Since 2019, Hasbro has released an ongoing Power Rangers six-inch toyline, "Power Rangers: Lightning Collection".  So far, Hasbro has made figures of the Mighty Morphin Pink, Red and Yellow Rangers in their second, third and fourth waves, respectively, and Blue Ranger will be released in wave five.  However, while Hasbro has made figures for Lord Zedd and Goldar and will release a Rita Repulsa figure in August with a re-released Zedd, one thing that Hasbro has not done yet is released all-new monster figures to go with the figures.

"Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" is arguably the most promoted version of the "Power Rangers" television series, but it has been years since all-new figures of the various monsters from the TV series were made into action figures and there are dozens of monsters who never got figures at all.  Hasbro could make all-new figures of monsters who had toys in the 1990s, like Bones, King Sphinx, Pudgy Pig, Eye Guy, Knasty Knight, Goo Fish, Invenusable Fly Trap and Robogoat, or they could make first-time ever figures of monsters that Bandai never made figures of, such as Madame Woe, Pineoctopus, Terror Toad, Shellshock, Pumpkin Rapper, Primator, Bloom of Doom and Octophantom.

We, the fans, would like to see monster figures made for the "Power Rangers: Lightning Collection" toyline as either sold-separately figures or as part of two-packs with a Mighty Morphin Power Ranger.  Two-packs could be done either as an homage to the original M.M.P.R. VHS tapes, such as pairing Yellow Ranger with Bones and Blue Ranger with Pudgy Pig, or based on one-on-one fights from the TV series, such as Red Ranger with King Sphinx and Pink Ranger with Bloom of Doom.  It would also be a great way to have the series' successor Power Rangers made into figures, like making a figure of Mighty Morphin Black Ranger with an alternate Adam Park head paired with a figure for a season two monster, like Scatterbrain.  With the "Lightning Collection" toyline making so many Rangers, it would be nice to have some monster figures from the TV series for fans to collect and have kids play with.
