Bring the old LPS (2005-2011) Back!
The Issue
In 2005, Hasbro revised the Littlest Pet Shop toy line. They were great quality toys, with durable plastic and fantastic paint jobs. However, something else happened that nobody would expect.
From this simple toy, a family was formed. A family who helped each other. A family who stuck together. A family known as LPSTube.
LPSTubers make amazing videos with these toys. Through these videos, we get to know each other better and make new friends through an amazing phenomenon. I myself am an LPSTuber, known as LPSLuna. Through these simple yet fantastic toys, I have made many new friends. I went from a shy, antisocial girl to someone who is confident in her LPSTuber friends because she knows that they have her back.
However, something awful has happened to our once perfect community. In 2012, Hasbro remade the LPS toy line into something out of our nightmares. Our community broke into a panic. Hasbro has received thousands of phone calls explaining why we need the old LPS, but to no avail. Not only is Hasbro disappointed their fans, but they're also oblivious to the fact that they're getting less sales because of it. They changed it for their TV show, which was completely unnecesary. They could've just kept the old models and created a couple new ones for the TV characters, but they wasted more money and threw out all the old models. We have called, emailed, and begged them for FOUR YEARS now, but Hasbro hasn't budged. At one point, they released one wave of old pets in 2013. Sales boomed, and then they returned to even worse models, with rubber heads and holes all over their bodies. Sales were low again.
This needs to stop. Not only has Hasbro crushed our dreams, but they have also crushed moneymaking potential for the LPS toy line. But we can stop this. Sign my petition, and make your own as well. If we stand together as our LPSTube community, we can restore what was lost.
