IMPORTANT!!! If you have had a pet suffer side effects and/death due to Hartz...you need to file a complaint with the EPA. All Reporting Info is under NOTES at the top of the page. Also VERY IMPORTANT......IF YOU TOOK YOUR PET TO THE VETWHILE SUFFERING AND SIDE EFFECT OR DEATH....YOU NEED TO GET YOUR VET TO ALSO FILE A REPORT WITH THE EPA. By Law Vets in Canada and the U.S are supposed to file a report if they seen and/or treated a animal the suffered from a product for pets. Many Vets STILL DON'T...as it takes up their time. So if you paid your Vet to treat your pet. Make them report. They can call the number for the EPA and they will instruct the Vet how to file a report. Ask for a copy to ensure and also send the copy to Hartz....as Hartz WILL pay your Vet cost if you have the proper paper work.
Please report...too many people are not, the EPA governs what is safe and not safe to be sold. They did one re-call on Hartz 2002 due to the volume of complaints they received.........more complaints may lead to another re-call.
