Since the Hartlepool Marina car park has changed to the 24 hour charge CCTV operating system, hundreds of tourists, residents, businesses & their customers have received parking tickets.

This has been published on all over social media and local news, putting a negative impact on the number of tourists, visitors and customers of the Marina whilst simultaneously having a tremendous effect on the day time and night time economy of the town. 

Hartlepool Borough Council has had the opportunity to purchase the car park twice but failed to do so and in the last two weeks, the new manager of the carpark has reduced 30 minutes free to 15 minutes free resulting in an unfortunate effect on the delivery and taxi drop off and the pick up in the area too.
