As you all know these changes are due to take affect on 24/8. These changes have been passed through without proper consultation of the residents this will affect and also the buisness owners, these changes should not happen without the thoughts of those involved heard and proper planning considered.

the impacts will be-

high volume of traffic diverted down an unsuitable road causing mass chaos to residents along Albert street and surrounding roads.

- people who suffer from any disability are being impacted due to not being able to be dropped off at desired place.

- increase in taxi fares due to the diversions and also traffic, this will have an impact on firms.

- buisness owners will lose there pop in income (those who drive past see what they want park up then leave)

-uncertainty of appropriate public transport relocation points,

- making children’s journeys to school more dangerous due to uncertainty of traffic and also where public transport will be.

- this is not due to COVID that our town “needs” to do this! 

-there is lack of sign posting of correct diversion signs which adds to the confusion. 

- no one who is not on social media had any knowledge of this only through word of mouth they have heard.

this has been poorly done and needs to stop!
