Hi everyone! Thank you for your immense support on this petition so far. We have gotten 3.5k signatures in just 7 days, which is quite a feat. 

I am currently working on emails/letters to several ministers, which I am aiming to send out when 10,000 signatures are reached, so I am able to also present a strong backing by (mostly) Singaporeans. The reason for waiting till this number is reached is because in 2022, a petition platform was explored in Singapore where 10,000 signatures guaranteed a ministry response (the platform has been taken down)-- so this number is seen as significant enough. 

Please continue sharing this petition to others who resonate with this view, and also a huge thank you to everyone who has chipped in money to promote this petition so far! This is hopefully a small step that could bring some big changes.
