Save Pinner Park

Save Pinner Park
The Issue
The council want to remove Tracy from the Pinner Memorial Park, Tracy is the park keeper who has made the park what it is today, she cleans, trims tidies, plants and clears up the 23 bags of rubbish we leave in the park every summers' day.. Her presence is a comfort to young and old, and is always happy in her work and takes real pride in what she does. As more flats are built in Pinner, the park will become more peoples' back garden - it;s already the busiest park in the London Borough of Harrow, used by kids going to school, dog walkers, and those who want to grab some fresh air.
Once Tracy has been allowed to leave, and the Park has start to deteriorate we may never be able to get it back - so act now to make sure it survives for our children to enjoy.
And say thank you to Tracy for all her hours days weeks months and years of dedication to OUR park... it's the least we can do!
The following changes will also occur:
* Litter picking & bin emptying will be done once a week
* The grass will be cut once during the summer
* Shrubs will be trimmed once a year
And don't forget, once the councils' £75 a year charge to remove garden waste comes into effect, where better to leave the grass cuttings than your local neighbourhood park!
