Officer Joe - as my daughter who is a student in Special Ed at Harrison High School knows him  - is a much needed presence in an environment where nothing is certain. Many students and parents have been touched by the friendship, advice, and mentoring Joe Parrello selflessly offers. 

Joe Parrello has been removed from his post as SRO at Harrison High School. His presence there is invaluable and should not be taken as lightly as the obviously rapid removal that has taken place.
