The Wired PDP Legacy Rock Band adapter for Xbox One is a USB adapter that allows you to use electronic drum kits on Xbox One via the Rock Band 3 Midi-Pro Adapter or the Ion Drum Rocker/Ion Drum Rocker Module.

As highlighted in a recent article by Imad Khan, and a well known fact amongst the Rock Band community, the Xbox One wired PDP drum adapter is a Rock Band accessory that has soared to unbelievable heights price wise.

The Rock Band community on Xbox has suffered too long, and needs a way to play their favorite tracks comfortability and in an enjoyable way. The PDP drum adapter will undoubtedly fail one day for those who currently have it, and having either a brand new one or an extra one on hand would be a great reassurance for hardcore Rock Band players. Furthermore, there is a wide range of players, myself being one of them, who cannot even get their hands on one because of their ridiculous price.

I am not going to continue to bore you all with poor writing on a topic that Imad has covered beautifully (linked below), however I will say this.

If we could gather 1000 people, willing to pay anywhere from $50-$100 USD for a wired legacy adapter, the odds that another production run happens is plausible. Getting 1000 people to sign the petition may be of some trouble, but possible. If you're willing to pickup one, two, or even three of these Legacy Adapters, sign in with an alternate account.

Rock Band will continue to live on in Rivals, however with no instruments to play it with, it'll be dead before we know it.
