Currently there is a small grass roots dog park at 151st. This Spring a new pedestrian bridge is being built from Riverside Drive across the train tracks and West Side Hwy to Riverside Park. We would like part of the design to include a small dog park for the many residents with dogs in this neighborhood. Currently, the closest official dog park to this area is 15 blocks North at 165th street or 15 blocks and 2 avenues South in St. Nicholas Park. This petition is to demonstrate support for including a dog park in the overall design of 151st street bridge.
