Keep our families safe.

Harford County's premature plan to force staff and students back into the buildings will cause instruction to suffer.

The plan that Harford County has introduced risks the loss of life for teachers, students, and their families.

Everyone realizes virtual instruction is not best practice. However, to avoid being complicit in the spread of this virus, it is the only safe course of action.

These are our options -

(1) Reduce risk by continuing to work with the established virtual learning platform, thus providing consistency and effective instruction

(2) Risk the lives of everyone in our community in a vain attempt to achieve "normalcy" by reopening schools

I, for one, choose survival for myself, my students, and my family.
