Thousands of Indian Medical students are still stranded in the warzone in Ukraine. But the rescue operation of Indian government is limited to reaching out to those students who have already reached safety of nations bordering Ukraine all on their own, risking snipers, shelling, criminals, all despite racial discrimination they have been facing during their dangerous march. Govt. help has not reached those who actually need it.

We urge Government of India to use all its diplomatic resources and invite help of larger international community to negotiate with Ukraine and Russia, the entry of Indian aircrafts and vehicles whether civil or military directly within the borders of Ukraine and as close to the eastern cities as possible to facilitate safe return of Indian nationals. Russia and Ukraine need to respect our stand of Non-alignment as a country in this conflict between NATO and Russia. If Ukraine or Russia denies us this most geniune favor Government of India should expose their insensitivity and indifference on international stage in UN and other forums make them face diplomatic consequences.
