The Pioneers of Cruelty head to Vegas

The Humane League

May 23, 2017 — Thank you for the outpouring of support for the campaign against Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, demanding that they improve the treatment of chickens throughout their supply chains. This week, Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s parent company, CKE Restaurants, will be holding its annual CKE Franchise Convention at the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas. Let’s let CKE and the Bellagio know that animal cruelty is always a losing bet!

1) Call CKE Restaurants’ CEO, Jason Marker.
Call: (615) 538-9270. Ask to be transferred to Jason Marker’s administrative assistant. Please leave a voicemail if no one answers.
Say (something like this): It is unacceptable that CKE Restaurants has yet to produce a policy to address the cruel conditions in its chicken supply chain. I will be boycotting CKE Restaurants and its business affiliates, like the Bellagio Resort, until CKE produces a meaningful chicken welfare policy.

2) Tweet at the Bellagio Resort:
