Overfishing is huge issue that needs to be discussed. Over the years the amount of overfishing has impacted the ecosystem. This has led to a decline of fish in certain areas of the ocean. The issue with overfishing is that fisheries and ports are targeting certain species of fish that take longer to reproduce. The big problem is there’s a lack of management and organizing in these ports and harbors. I hope by gaining signatures I can send a letter and meet up with a port or restaurant in New York on how they can organize their use on fish. Organizing their use on fish can help increase the population of certain species and help the ecosystem.
