To the Extremely Powerful People Who Control Our Week-Offs,

We, the hardworking people of the Sales & Counselling Department, would like to submit a humble but very strongly emotionally backed request:

🗓️ MONDAY–TUESDAY OFF ❌
🗓️ SUNDAY–MONDAY OFF ✅
And here’s why we believe this tiny calendar change could make a BIG difference:

 
📉 1. CONNECTIVITY ON SUNDAYS: “Hello? Can you hear me?”
Sunday connectivity is already a challenge.

Learners are busy.
Families are busy.
Everyone is busy.

And we're sitting there thinking:

“Maybe they'll pick up this time.” 🥲
Moving our off to Sunday means we stop fighting the Sunday connectivity battle altogether.

 
🧳 2. SUNDAY = OUTING DAY
For many learners, Sunday means:

👨‍👩‍👧 Family time
🍿 Movie plans
🍽️ Lunch outside
🛍️ Shopping
🚗 Day trips
😴 Recovering from Saturday

Which often translates to:

“Can we reschedule the meeting?”

And just like that…

📅 Meeting → Rescheduled
📅 Follow-up → Rescheduled
📅 Decision → Rescheduled
📅 Counsellor → Emotionally rescheduled 🥲

 
👨‍👩‍👧 3. FAMILY TIME MATTERS
Sunday is traditionally when people spend quality time with family.

Instead of competing with:

“Beta, come have lunch.”

we could simply let them have their Sunday…

…and speak to them when they're actually available. 😌

 
✈️ 4. VACATIONS DON'T CARE ABOUT OUR WEEK-OFF
Long weekends + Sunday = Prime Vacation Territory™

Learners are travelling, attending weddings, visiting hometowns, going on trips…

Meanwhile:

Counsellor: “Hi! Is this a good time to discuss your career?”

Learner: “Actually, I'm in Goa.” 🌴

Counsellor: 🫠

 
🎉 5. SUNDAY + MONDAY = A PROPER LONG WEEKEND
Let’s be honest.

Monday/Tuesday off feels like a punishment.

By Tuesday evening, everyone else is already saying:

“Hope you had a great weekend!”
And we're like:

“Our weekend starts now.” 😭
Sunday/Monday gives us a much more natural break and allows us to actually recharge before getting back into the week.
