As our water quality declines even further Project H2O aims to help.
They are bringing together government agencies, environmental organizations, local universities, and non-profits to collaborate on research, education, restoration and funding opportunities to improve Volusia County waters and the Indian River Lagoon. Project H2O uses the strengths of these different groups collaborating with each other to benefit our watershed.
Current partners contributing to Project H2O include the Marine Discovery Center, Volusia County Government, St. Johns River Water Management District, UF IFAS Volusia County Extension, Bethune-Cookman University, Stetson University, Daytona State College, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Save the Manatee Club, Marine Resources Council, League of Women Voters Volusia County, West Volusia Audubon, Blue Spring Alliance, and Green Volusia.
